Well as it looks right now I am not sure if I am going to get any riding done this year either, but if I do I am want to know if it is possible to flip the orientation of a freedom axle.

Heres how it is. I originally bought the freedom axle for my X2 when it was a 121 so I could run 8 inch wheels. About 20 miles later I took it off so I could put 136 rail extentions on but they would not except the freedom axle as it would make the track too tight even at the slackest part of the adjuster.

My question is, does anyone know if it is possible to flip a freedom axle the other way, with 8 inch wheels and run a 141 inch track? Was thinking a 141x2x15 track for heading out west.

If not, I got it for sale (the freedom axle).

Thanks in advance.

Cheers,
Ryan

I would have expected it to fit rail extensions, can you mill out slot in extension, may only need a little bit.

So you thin that a track 5 inches longer should not be a problem. Has anyone done this before?
Thanks,
Ryan
