I have 2 srv 540s. I'm not sure the year ones running one for parts. I have an updated powdercoated susp for the rear and a new set of original skis and carbides that need to be swapped over but only seem to be missing a windshield. However the motor runs has a bog then takes off like a rocket ship. Now it will not start seems to fire once and in 2 pulls its flooded. Could this be just a carb cleaning that needs to be done?

Thats what I would start with a good carb cleaning

Thanks I cleaned it and bingo. Sled now starts on the first pull everytime cold or warm! I was wondering my oil light comes on when the brakes are applied and neither gauge works. I know that could be frozen cables and I know to check the jackshaft bearing. Another ? I have is the susp washers between the tunnel and susp. I removed one susp had 2 dished washers on the front and that's all I have for it. I would like to try using flat washers but I'm sure it will be a pain fighting the susp in and a washer at the last minute. Unable to get from yamaha dealer nor can I find any place with something similar. Any ideas would be very appreciated.
