A mountain lion roaming the prairie found a bull, killed it and ate the entire bull. With a heavy belly, unable to walk, the lion laid in the tall grass moaning and roaring. Soon a hunter, attracted by the roaring, shot and killed the lion. Moral: When you're full of bull, keep your mouth shut!

looks good on him but I must say, sure cats can't skip water but they are snowmobiles right? doesn't that mean they go on snow? i'm sorry but Ihave no sympathy for people that sink their sled from purposfully running open water, it's jsut plain stupid. I don't get it at all, why take the risk of wrecking your sled and you possibl dying?? to get some cheap thrills by making watter splash out from your skis??? I just don't get it.

I didn't see anything about skippin open water. Was that what happened? They dropped a few (2) through the ICE up in Moosehead Lake a week or so ago. Seems they went off the beaten path, down the river, and dropped in for a little dip. Nobody hurt. Gonna make a great artificial reef for salmon fishing this spring if they don't get them out.

I don't think the guys that run their sleds across open water really care if the sled sinks. They just pull it up, dry it out, and try it again next weekend.

LOL at him, tell him to get a floater suit, I ran water with my cat once, it loves the water, I think everybody that runs a lot of lakes should run there sleds on water at least once, so if they hit some running a lake by accident they know how the sled will react, and they won't panic.

Yeah the best thing you can do when you hit open water is just to open it up and hope for the best... I once had to cross 50 yards of open water to get home.. i barely made it but it was an adreniline rush...i hit the other side hard haha

What? didnt u make it across and slam into ice or what?

well what it was was a small section of open water, and i had to go from one shore to the other shore, and while im pinning it over the water i really have no control so the other bank was raised a bout two feet and i hit it hard, but i there was no other way. It was one of those days that you really shouldnt be out there.... it was warm all week and there was washouts and open water everywhere, but you gotta get home somehow

all i know is to get to my house from the restrant my family loves to eat at you have to cross the mouth of the river. well its getting hard to do now because the ice is pushing up.. so you kinda launch your sled off a shove and sit on the back as far as you can and pray to make it across.. it isnt really a big deal if you sink it cause its only a foot or so deep... kinda love the water shortage right now lol
