How do you repaint your hood? Does anyone know a service to paint my hood to the original paintings and decals? How much would it run?

I once smashed my 97 indy 440. The hood was in about 20 pieces. I took it to a local body shop that I knew did good work. They pieced it together and painted it for $250. They matched the paint perfectly. All I had to do was go to the dealer and buy the decals. After it was finished you couldn't tell it was ever smashed up, unless you looked inside the hood.

for the decals you will have to go to a dealer for that. For painting you could do that yourself. That plastic paint in a can is great. I used it on a nosecone of my sport. It really hides the scratches and marks.
