Here is a question for the polaris experts. In 1998 were slp ultra lite skis a factory option on xc models? If they were, are the listings for plastic skis for polaris sleds in the parts magazines like Dennis Kirk slp skis or some other ski?

I don't think the plastic skis were a factory option at that time, but I could be wrong.
Dennis Kirk does have different styles of plastic skis in their catalog.
Otherwise you can go directly to SLP's site and check out what they have. You can email their tech people with questions.
its www.startinglineproducts.com
They also have something called The Sales Flyer with overstock, discontinued, and slightly blemished items for sale at "low low discount prices."

Frequently used as a term of derision by non-woodburners who mock the presence of loose bark and other wood waste in the beds of their pickup trucks.
