Buddy's got a 95 ski doo with reverse on it. He changed his chain case oil last night. But when he put things together the reverse wasn't shifting properly anymore. Is there a trick to this. There was a lever attached to the face of the chain case, does it have to line up with something when you put it back on? Anyone ever delt with this type of set up?

I didn't do it!

hmmm..well if all he did was change the oil maybe he put too much in..there should be a plug that u can open to release some oil...this plug will relase the amount of oil that needs to be relased...a chaincase is only supposed to have a certain amount of oil in..which is why the plug is there..once the oil stops leaking out of the plug..there is the correct amount of oil..try that

If you cracked open the case, you may need to adjust the shift linkage/cable tension.

"there was a lever" is it hooked up ?
