That was NOT disrespect...it was the reason this was banned. I'm finished trying to explain...PM an Admin or Mod then.

it realy doesnt matter if i do,im sure there not going to change there mind, and like i said previously i would much rather read about a race with the end results.unfortunatly most dont post them and leave others wondering,im just saying by people posting this vs that certainly doesnt lesson this site...it just gives more options for people to read about, if they like.Like it or not...those are the facts!!

OK...and here's another FACT (most important one); erick and P-Man OWN this site. They can do what they want, that's life. And I'll deal with it because I do not have the time, money, nor expertise to make my own site. They do.
Also, if you re-read, or dig up another thread, you'll see that I was FOR "T vs. T" topics.
As you said, no one follows-up and posts results. So, you've answered your own question there.

That's how I'm reading it, yes.

I see..
True, I would also enjoy that. Remember quite a few places are still lacking snow, so with luck, that's what you'll soon have.

It means a lot hearing that from you since you and I have had our disagreements a few weeks ago in the off topic forum.
This was a heavily discussed issue around here and we decided getting rid of the this vs that topics would be for the benefit of the whole forum in general. It's not picking on anyone, it's trying to make the site used as intended. Unfortunately you can't please everyone and this is one of those times. I'm sorry if you are mad or annoyed with our decision but it stands.

Thanks... ...I still love it here...as you said, no one can please 'em all, but you guys do a damned good job trying. Don't change a thing, and keep up the good work...to ALL the SF.com staff!

The threads saying something along these lines: "I raced a 04 XC 700 with my 04 Pro X2 600 and I beat him off the line but he passed me up in the top end" is perfectly reasonable. The threads saying "Who would win out of a 1974 Panther 340 f/c and a 2005 Fusion if the 1974 has a clutch kit and a MBRP can on it?" are just plain pointless and sickening.

Now I think the "Racing" section should be renamed to "Racing topics providing it might annoy people so watch what you post because people can't help but get mad when they see it, first it was said to just put it in the racing section but now that is not allowed" A long title but it defeats the purpose of drag racing discussion because some people can't hold there toungue or there temper. You do not NEED to even look at these threads, not everyone cares about local racing events, especially ME because I live in Maine and there's never anything here within 2 hours of me, racing is racing no matter how you put it, curiosity is inevitable... people will now post things about how they beat the sled when people just say F-That you did not, so instead of controversial threads we have controversal responses. So now there should be no prespectous on anything "Which sled should I go with, this or that." Those are just as highpothetical. This is an unneccesary move. Just keep it to the race threads, now members are going to start complaining about other crap they don't like until everything is banned besides "How to fix" threads. Every question is hipothetical in one way or another.
You would'nt understand.
