Has anybody delt with these guys? Well, I'm very irritated with them. I ordered an MBRP can for my fathers birthday present, which was a week ago, ordered the can 2-3 months ago, and still have not received it. I call them every week to check on the status of the order, and I get a different response everytime. Its either, they drop shipped it and it is going through customs, or it is on back order. The last time I called they had the nerve to say they would send me the Sno stuff rumble pack instead, which they said is exactly the same, which is totally not true, which they heard from me in a pretty good tone. Anybody who knows silencers, knows they are not of the same qaulity.
I'm just wondering who has ordered through them, and if they have had problems. I really just needed to vent to my fellow sledders about it. $219 with free shipping is a great deal, but not if its been 3 months with nothing received yet. My $.02 about them....

I'd be about ready to write to the BBB (Better Business Bureau). Sounds like a crap operation. Get them on the list so others don't suffer the same fate.
And the next time you talk to them, I'd mention that as well. Since you mentioned customs, I'm ASSUMING it's in Canada?? I'm sure they have a version of the BBB as well.
Either way...good luck!!

JosMN,
I had the same issues when I ordered my MBRP from them. Took...roughly a month or 2 to finally get the can. Good thing I ordered my during the off-season, but still frustrating to deal with. I did the same thing you did...called them every week for an update. They told me that they were waiting on their shipment from MBRP to come in. Your correct, Sno-Stuff and MBRP are not the same quality, fit or finish. I was at the point of almost calling the BBB, but wouldn't you know it, I called them one last time and they just sent it off. Your right, it is a good price, but is it worth the wait or hassle. Call them back up and let them know that you have spoken with others on a sled forum about the same issues and see what they have to say. Let them know that they do not have a good reputation going so far...may or may not help. Good luck!

Well, latest news is I gave them the weekly call today, got put on hold for 10 minutes and eventually cut off. Called them back 3 times, no answer, no answer, no answer. Do they have caller ID? So I use my girlfriends phone about ten minutes later and get a hold of them. PUT ME ON HOLD AGAIN!! After about 5 minutes a guy picks up and says it is still on back order, then asked me if I wanted to have it "dropped shipped" from another location for $25. I was like, are you kidding me!!!!???? I really let them know my feelings this time and how many problems I heard they had with others. I told them if its not here in 2 weeks, that action will be taken. I said to him that they never give me a straight answer and he turned it around and said that about MBRP!! Couldn't beleieve it.I have called three other places and they have these cans IN STOCK, and its now the off season! I will never do business with these guys again and I strongly advise the rest of you not to either. I'm absolutley annoyed!!!!!

That sucks, man.
I WOULD contact the BBB on them now! That's just crappy business. You would think he wouldn't have caller ID, but it sure SOUNDS like he does.
I would be furious too...call the BBB, put them "on report".

i was gonna order like 600 bucks worth of goodies from them/ but backed out. because i waited 3-4 days back on emails everytime from them. so i figured if thats how they do bussiness i didnt want no part of waiting for my stuff. i have seen some really good feedback about them on snowest last yr. so i wander what happened .i hate waitin for parts in the dead on winter anyways. thats why i like dennis kirk. COD ship. and its on my door the next morning .they are alittle higher in price. i have bought thro many online companys. and dennis kirk has been the best so far.nice thing about them. they stock what they sell. and you can see if the item is in stock right online before you buy it,

I would sell the superlite, rumble pack, snowlite, or slp cans and pipes. if i had one for your sled. i could have it anywhere in the us in 5 days, in mn or surrounding states i can have it there in 2 days.
I never understood why these shops are so slow or goofie about stuff.
if i sold mbrp cans i would sell it to you as cheap as i could.
you should just look for another shop that has the same can you where looking at and go with them.

Well, its kind of hard to go with a different shop since I paid them for it 2-3 months ago, funds taken out of my account already. I'm going to post this over on snowest and see what kind of feedback I get. Thanks for the replies guys.

I ordered a pipe and spark arrester for my KX 250 from my local dealer more than seven months ago and still didn't get the spark arrester, the pipe came in after six months of waiting and a threat to cancel my order.
I've ordered other things from him and they always take a long time to come in. He says the wholesalers he gets them from say always that they are on back order and there is nothing he can do about it.
I always order my stuff through mail order warehouses but like to keep my local dealer alive too but they make it very hard to want to buy from them. He understands my agravation and always gives me my money back when I need to get the part somewhere else though.
Doesn't sound like a good way to do business cause I'm going out of my way to give this dealer my business.

well after many phone calls, they finally dropped shipped it straight from MBRP. Last week I got the package, open it up, and its the damn trail version! I already have the trail version. Motofrugals told MBRP to send me the trail version. Funny thing is, they don't even offer it on their site. So i called again, very very annoyed, told them the situation, and got it all straightned out. HOPEFULLY. MBRP directly called me and said to send it back to them and they will send the Race version out to me. He said they have had a lot of people call them with problems with this company. So motofrugals is sending me the UPS label and after that, it should be good to go. Hopefully I will see something in around 2 weeks. I know these guys try hard, but when you are asked about something, please give me a straight answer. I got a different one everytime I called.
