This will be interesting..I voted no, because I don't trust it. I have had way too many failures come through the shop because of them. Granted, the sleds I ride, you can disable them.
You can be member #7502 for a mere 5 Dollars..sent to...lmao...well it could work...

I run it but I dont trust it. I tend to add at least two bottle caps of oil at each fill up. I feel a little safer knowing I have some oil in my gas.

i trust my oil injection on my 1991 indy 500.. it hasnt let me down in over 5,000 miles now. as for adding a few bottle caps in your gas, that wont do anything if your oil injection goes..your engine will need a lot more oil then a few bottle caps to prevent it from seizing up. if you dont trust your oil injection, add a little bit of oil into the tank after each fill up, but dont be suprised when you notice it starts to foul plugs more and bogs down sometimes too.

is indy500sp stated the few bottles caps I add wont help if you injection goes. I just like to add some to put my mind at ease. Im basically lieing to my self, when it really doesn't do much. I do foul some plugs here and there but to much oil never hurt in my opinion. I like to be a bit rich and prevent a burn down.

I trust it for the most part, I have never had a problem with it. Id rather take the risk with oil injection then have to premix every time you stop at the pump..

I cant say I have ever had trouble with oil injection. I have heard some older sleds could have problems(ie.Ski-Doo). I had a '89 Formula(467) and it was recomended I turn it up a bit as the motor could have not been getting enough oil at full throttle. Any body else heard this?

I have quite a bit of faith in my oil injection system. I figure by 1998, Arctic Cat should have had everything figured out.

Oil injection in my sleds has been real trust worthy so far. I rely on it to do its job but I am always worried it wont. Probably because I run a hi-perf out board on my boat and oil injection is totally unreliable beyond 6000 RPM on those.

In 14 yrs with my sled...I've never had 1 bit of trouble...neither have any of my freinds, so I'd have to say I "trust it".

I prefer to mix gas. Ever own a VRO?

yes, those oil injection systems in the evinrudes are trash and you can not trust them, but for sleds, oil injction seems to be much more reliable then outboard engines.

i dont own a evinrude outboard, i own a mercury, but from what i have heard, the VRO oil injection systems are very unreliable. Besides the VRO, i have never heard nor had any major problems with any oil injcetion system weather its on a sled or outboard.

Outboard engines that rev beyond 6000 RPM need to have the oil injection disabled and pre-mix or you are just awaiting disaster. Sleds are definately the exception when it comes to high RPM oil injection reliability in two strokes.
