overall, I'm not sure how many times I have been pulled over, I put over 9, but I'm not sure if its been that many or not. probably in that pallpark, counting dnr stops.
I dont' know about your state but here in NY.. 30 mph and over would get your vehicle impounded and your license gone at the minimum

I get stopped because of my car. It's to the point that I don’t drive it much anymore. In Winnipeg Sunday night is when all the jack assess come out with their mom's neon and try to race everyone on city streets. Sunday's used to be about people who loved cars and the hobby that goes along with cars. Now it's not worth the time to go out on Sundays for fear of a ticket. It just goes to show you how a bunch of a**holes can spoil it for everyone. Just my 2 cents. Here are some pics of my car.

I've got some warnings for speeding.
a couple of speeding @ 14 mph over the limit.
too fast for conditions, but originally wanted to write me up for reckless driving - I was trying to drive the car sideways up the street in freshly fallen snow and spun out ..... several times.
a warning for a burned out headlight.
Snowmobiling on a highway ..... it wasn't nearly as cool as it sounds. We missed the trail and took a real small shortcut. The cop had a serious attitude against sledders.
pulled over but not ticketed for riding on a closed trail, but technically we were riding the ditch and that's legal.

I've been pulled over twice, both by state troopers. One was with my Grand Am, didn't have the front license plate on..guy was an ass like always, got off with a warning.
The second time was going 79 in a 65, he was nice about it at least and wrote it for going over 10 mph instead of 14. He still was a dick though..
It is not the length of life, but depth of life.

Here it gets ugly if you are going twice the speed limit. A guy I knew in HS got pulled over for 65 in a 30 and lost his license. They said they could have nailed him for some form of manslaughter.

Sadly yes. I have calmed down alot.. it makes alot of sense when you get older and gain a few brain cells.. And the $$ flying out of the wallet doesn't help much..
Let me put this together for you habitual speeders and law breakers..
I got a ticket 4 years ago for not making a complete stop
That ticket cost me 130 bucks (american) and 2 pts on my license.
My insurance went up and never went down. My insurance company told me that just from that one ticket, I have paid out 150 extra every six months. And I will for 5 YEARS! Every ins. company I talked to verified this. It effects your premium for 5 years. So, that ONE ticket will/has cost me 1,630 dollars. I should have come to a complete stop and avoided them points. That was an expensive 2 seconds of my life. Alot more then I thought it was going to be.
Every three years I take the drivers saftey course that reduces your insurance and takes points off your license. That only takes off state points, not insurance surcharge points. You get them as soon as they find out you got pulled over, and only time gets rid of them.
I switched ins. companys once and didn't tell them about being pulled over along time ago. They called back and said "your premium had to be adjusted, you got pulled over 4 years ago for failure to obey a traffic control device"

Out of all of my tickets none have made it too the insurance company. I don't think any of them involved points though.

i got one ticket 2 yrs ago for an accident, the ticket was for inattentive driving, 3 points and 168 USD. a rookie cop responded and wanted to write out 6 or eight tickets for
1. speeding
2. failure to yeild right away
3. reckless driving
4. inattentive driving
5. seat belt
6. unsafe lane devation (sp?)
everything is preaty much cleared up, went to court and got traffic school to drop the fine and get my points back,
and my ins. will go down to normal rates in a year as long as i stay with the same company
Our flurries,that fall from heaven,
fill hollow and the plains.Thy parts did come, my work be done,on clutch, carb
and suspension.
Give us this day a mighty storm
(good folks will groom our passes)
And help landowners forgive those that trespass against them
Lead us not into bad stations, but deliver us from fouling.
For thine is the highmark, the lake run, the touring.
From November to mid-April

I am at 15 personally, but only 3 tickets ever on my record. My cousin hates me for the fact that I would always get off with no ticket but he is the type who gets stopped for speeding and ends up with 3 other tickets as well. When I was between 16-20 yrs old I would get pulled over all the time but always let go without a ticket. I had a big black 79 Caprice with headers and flowmasters, rims etc etc and must have looked like a nuisance. I got pulled over all the time in that car but was usually not doing much (if anything) wrong so once they saw me and checked everything out they would let me go.
I got pulled over once for 61 in a 55 and the cop actually apologized for stopping me once he talked to me! It was pretty funny.

1. Exhibition Driving (apparently I exceeded the legal rate of acceleration, don't have to spin the tires I guess...that was thanks to straight pipes dropped after the cats by the manifold and between to elevators.
2. Verbal Warning for Exhibition driving (that time I deserved it [:P])
3. Warning for no front license plate
4. 1st gear, loud pipes, driving by a ricer...cop assumed I was trying to show off (verbal warning)

i keep remembering all of mine, while reading about everybody else's. here is what i can recall:
speeding a few times, best one was while driving a Trans Am and got pulled over for doing 67 in a 55. I asked the officer if it wasn't more like 62. only got a warning for that, the cop was pretty cool. Just a few minutes earlier i had been going 100. good timing.
impeding traffic and weaving.
unsafe operation of a motor vehice. apparently doing donuts on a frozen lake is unsafe.
many, many tailights or headlights out.
accesive acceleration.
probably more too
all that was a long time ago.
