Today is my last day at the Snowmobile shop.
High Mark is a great shop and Reggie, (the owner) is still a great friend and all.
I am still going to get my Polaris stuff there as they take awsome care of their customers as well.

I made a venture capital deal with a guy who is investing large $$$ into Gravity Worx Racing and he is helping me get set up with all of the marketing tools and everything that I need to make this thing really fly.
This meens that I've now got THE dream job of a lifetime. At least my dream.
I own the business and still get to modify sleds and sell the parts for a living.

Best of luck Darin. Hope everything works out for you with your venture... hope the snow flies and buries us all so that people really get the itch again!

Good Luck from someone who is also goin' for broke and moddin' sleds ( as well as dirt bikes, watercraft, karts, chainsaws, etc. ) full time instead of repairing everyone's worn out junk all day. And I can even almost justify being on this forum all the time. I just tell my wife it's " market research ". I'm off to Vancouver to buy a bunch of 7000 & 6000 series aluminum 3"-6" plate, and 18-20 GA steel sheets. I've been writing CNC programs for a month now, so it's time to let the machine shop do it's stuff. Owning your own business is so cool, I don't think you'll ever regret itAgain, Good Luck!!!

You just summed it all up right there.
And for what it's worth, I am definately a rider and so I'm just treating my customers in the way that I want to be treated.
I think that as long as I remember that, then it will go really well.

Best wishes, just keep working hard and you'll do fine. I started my own business this past January 1st (technical writing, and I'm a mortgage broker to supplement the income) and I wouldn't trade it for the world. Even if I wasn't making half again as much as I did last year I'd still love it for the independence, and I get to work at home...if there's decent snow a couple counties away this sled season, I am THERE! :)

Good luck man!!
