Well here are some pictues of the house I grew up in and still occupy during the summer months when im not at college. Located in the snow belt where the riding kept me out every school nite. We got the house some 12 yrs back or so when my father left the military and went to the reserves instead. Did a complete remodel of the house from the basement up and also added an extra garage for all the toys. House might be for sale in the coming year as they want to move closer to the city do to medical reason. So it might make a good cabin for some fanatics who ride in the WI area. Outdoor woodstove heats the house and the garage. All lumber and wood came from my relatives sawmill. Basically built the house ourselves. Let see some pic's of your castles. I have a few more pic's that all look for. Dialup took me over and Hr to load these.

Here is a pic of my new house. I bought it in July of this year. The pics aren't great, they are actually from the listing of the house online.

It is your basic ranch. 1000 sqft, 3bdrm, 2bath, paritally finised basement yadda yadda yadda. My favorite part and the prime selling point was the 3 car garage. They are very few and far between in the area where the house is. It needs some updates before it is the garage-maj-hal that I envision but it is coming around. It is currently home the the 69 Bird, sled, quad and trailer.

Here's mine...

Yes, I know, it's only the garage. I don't have any pics of the house. The way it is now, I spend all my time in the garage anyway. If there was a bathroom and shower in it, I'd probably live out there.

A mountain lion roaming the prairie found a bull, killed it and ate the entire bull. With a heavy belly, unable to walk, the lion laid in the tall grass moaning and roaring. Soon a hunter, attracted by the roaring, shot and killed the lion. Moral: When you're full of bull, keep your mouth shut!

That is a great garage. One of the houses I was thinking about while house hunting had a huge garage like that. It had three 2 car doors and probably about a 1 car wide "workshop" area on one end. The garage was only a few yrs old, unfortunatly the farm house was about 100 yrs old (actually I think it was about 80 yrs old really) and showing it's age. I wasn't willing (or financially able) to redo the house so it was a no go. Ended up with a nice 3 car (or trailer, car, sled, quad) garage instead.

Anyways, nice "house". I am envious.
