I saw this sled on the way home from a party and called about it. It's a 1981 ski-Doo ____?(something) 4500, with a 340 in it. The sled looked really nice for being 24 yrs old. New seat cover, windshield in excellent shape , decent track, good skis, and very clean. There is no tac., I didn't get to look under the hood or start it to hear it run. The guy wants $600.00
What can you tell me about this sled? If it runs is it worth $600? I would like to find a small sled for my wife.

The sled is a Citation 4500. It is a single carb 340 fan cooled. They were a nice sled back in the day, just a step below the Blizzard. For $600, buy it if it's in good shape. I never had one, but my friend did and it seemed a pretty good sled.

I've never been called sir before, without it preceding...you're making a scene.

Tippy little bugger.
Not suitable for trails but good for the back 40.

Yea, its probably a citation 4500.. I own one myself.. there a pretty good sled. I've owned mine for 4 years now and have never had a problem. If its in good shape therea decent machine and for $600 i'd consider buying it.
