Someone asked about this feature, and I found that it wasn't enabled. Whoops

Anyway, now if you use the reply button (not quick reply) you will have a checkbox that says "subscribe to topic" If you check this box, then you will recieve an email every time someone replies to that topic.

You can also click the "subscribe to topic" button found at the top and bottom of every topic. Then a pop up window will open and tell you that you are subscribed. Then you will receive email whenever someone replies to the topic.

To unsubscribe, you can go to the "personal" menu found at the top, then a drop down menu appears and you click on subscriptions. You can delete them from there if you wish.

This may be particular to my side of the forum, I haven't checked erick's, Perhaps I'll check it later. But if you visit through my side of the site, this feature is now enabled.

That is the end of my essay.

One thing I've noticed whilst 'subscribing to an topic' is this:

When I first started posting here, I would select 'subscribe to topic' to a topic I was interested in. I would get, say, a reply, post a response and select 'subscribe to topic' again. Then when someone posted to that topic I would get two notices from my email. Anyway, I soon learned to select 'subscribe to topic' only once.

I reject your reality and substitute my own.

What do you mean why is it doing this? We already explained why. Yes, this is common, eitehr it is because of the two forum, or because you subscribed multiple times.

Jokester, if you are going to report a problem, how about you explain what the problem is instead of just yammering on.

Thanks.
