Hey all.... any one have any experience with the muffler repacking materials I see available in Dennis Kirk or other places? Sometimes my old Indy just gives me a headache on a long trail ride cause it's just a little loud for me. Wanted to try to quiet it down with some packing. Anybody?

Still waiting on decent snow in Southern NH might as well work on sleds...
Thanks...

do you have a stock pipe? if so then you have to cut it apart. basically all it really is is fiberglass packing. just for the record I cut an indy pipe apart and removed all the packing and it did'nt make hardley any diffence. maybe you have a baffle that rotted away in there. have you checked the pipe for any cracks that may be leaking?
