I had this 66 Chevy for like 5 years now, and just painted it different colors, broke more stuff, and burned up the clutc worse than it was. last weekend, 6-10 and 6-11, i bought a Hitachi grinder, and a Porter Cable Sander, and basically worked on the truck from when i woke up until i crashed. I have done all this work by myself, with little help from my grandfather because he wanted to do stuff half-a**, and i didn't like that idea....Here's a picture of the truck a year after I got it in 2002...not the greatest pic, but you can see it....

I gave it a paint job with out sanding it good and it looked like this....
Error: Gallery file 53775 doesn't exist!
tried to do my own flames....not to good...lol....I think that pic was in 04...in 05 i gave it its first tune-up in 15 years, and man what a differance, the points used to jump all the time, but since the tune up, not one time did they jump...knock on wood...then last weekend i worked hard with the new grinder and sander, and got disassembled what i needed to disassemble, so here are some pics...

there she is..this truck has never not started, except when the points jumped...which used to happen weekely, it was my grandpas ride back and forth to the truck terminal, which was two hours away, he had a 5 day run, so for fifteen years the truck was drivin from reading to somewhere past harrisburg, and the points always jumped at night on the way home.

the frame, gonna sand it and put a heavy heavy layer of rust-oleum on it.......also needs new brake line

side veiw of the truck...

the inside of the truck..its messy there, i need to clean it out to start work on the inside, thats another project....the shifter has a small labbatts tap handle as the shifter, since im gonna make the truck red and black, im gonna put a guiness or a budweiser tap handle in it

the two pics put together is my grandparents redneck yard...from left its my truck, the 77 ford, thats free if anyone wants it, my hood, my bed, and the camper, which is also free......lol

there is the little 6 cylinder that could...lol...after i dump the hundreds and hundreds of dollars into it to get it back on the road, im gonna drop a 350 in her....it has a 250 with 463,000 miles on it, it had 110hp from factory, so i dont know if i can trust it to to long on the road...im gonna keep this updated a lot, cause the truck has to be done by september....

You should use a good epoxy primer on your frame.

Cause I don't give a rats about who took second or 12th for that matter your just the next loser in a long line of many losers.
