read a article in snowtech, get a xcsp 500 can from slp. then get a slp 4.5" flow rite intake in the dash, replaces a speedo or a tach your choice. then increase the main jets two sizes! The article said one ya do that the sled will pull like a mother to 70!! i figured this is a good topic for people with 550 fans that always ask what mods to do!

wow..also known as jetting with some mental horsepower (the can). You're just increading airflow to the motor, ofcourse it will run better. If you want pull to 70, look at clutching!

I have a Aaen pipe for a 01 to 05 Super sport for sale. Outside of warming up the sled a few times the pipe has no miles on it. You gain 6hp with just slightly loudler sound. I weighed both stock and the Aaen pipe, you save 14 lbs. I have need fopr the money, so I,m selling it. Cost $399.00 plus shipping. Make me a offer. E-mail me if interested.--Mike

If it were me I would pull the jugs off and port the exhaust a bit higher. Or at the very least throw another base gasket under the jug to raise the EX port to go with the pipe. Seeing how there is no coolant to mess with :0)

You'ld loose some compression doing that, might loose more power than you gain.
