well i think its time to find something to pull the sled, and maybe a quad or jet ski some day in the future. i don't think my 1.5 liter summit will pull the trailer let alone anything else lol, so time for something bigger. i was thinking along the lines of a jeep, the 4 liter v6 is a very strong dependable motor, 4wd and lots of room for people and junk. but does anyone have any suggestions to what else might work. my basic requirements are that it can pull the single place with sled, can carry a few friends or some extra crap, isn't to horrible on gas and is dependable. also leaning more toward a SUV instead of a truck, if i got a truck it would be diesel and thats to expensive right now.

well one good thing is that if i do get another vehicle, the summit's getting a 2 liter turbo motor

thanks for your suggestions in advance.

I love my 4L inline 6. It already pulled a 2 place enclosed with 2 sleds, lots of tools, and 4 people. And I still got 15 mpg going 75 mph most of the way.

Check this thread out. I asked a similar question a while ago, and got a lot of good responses.

I saw that you live in Michigan...I'm not sure if you're looking at going out and buying a newer vehicle or what, but I figured I'd send this your way:

I've hauled a 2 place sled trailer, a camper, my 6000lb 24' boat...etc
