This is a smoking deal!!!!!!!!!
I just bought the Z650 (same thing but 6.1 megapixel instead of 7.1). The 10x optical zoom is amazing. I LOVE IT!!!
Look at this christmas ornament I tested this on. I took this picture from 15 feet away tonight (yes thats me with the blond hair at like 2 years old)
Act fast, or the deal will be gone or they will be sold out.

edit- I shrunk the picture before I uploaded it and it lost some quality but you get the point!
Here, I will load a picture full size to see what the forum will do to it. This picture is almost 1.7 megs and I took it in very very dim light.

canon makes some nice point and shoots. the s2 is is nice, its down to about $250. also Fuji has some nice models too, but its kinda of hit or miss as some are kinda cheesy. for something like that i would say go to best buy or what ever you have local for a electronics store and play with them to see what one feels better. some cameras may look cool on spec's and looks but the interface may suck. then after you find one you like get it online cheaper to avoid mark-up.

^ You didn't miss out. The deal is still available. http://www.buy.com/retail/Product.asp?sk...adid=17662 shipped to your door for 205 total. Guy I work with is buying it today.
And you bought a cybershot? Who reccommended one of them? Have fun buying the over priced memory. You got it for less then 240?
I must comment as my family has 2 cybershots in it. After they used a Kodak from the easy share series, they returned the cybershots and bought kodaks :)
I am not slamming you one bit, just expessing my opinion as this is the internet
Kodak- easier to use, less expensive for the same features, memory costs less, headquarters is in the USA (2 hrs from me), profits stay on u.s. shore.
stop being a wuss and get a hasselblad H1 http://cgi.ebay.com/Hasselblad-H1-Imacon...dZViewItem

I happen to like my Kodak EasyShare digital camera. Its simple to use, and they don't cost a lot. They are sold pretty much everywhere, too.

I just bought my Kodak Z650 and can take a picture of a soup can 30 feet away and read the ingredients on it! 10x optical zoom.. 200 bucks shipped
My dad just bought the Kodak Z710.. 205 shipped (bought 3 weeks after me)
My coworker just bought the Kodak Z710 also..
They are the same camara as mine but 1 megapixel higher (no big deal). They take unreal pictures and have 10x optical zoom!
We all also bought 1 GIG SD cards for 14 dollars
They are so easy to use and figure out. Oh.. and kodak is based in Rochester NY.. not Japan

my Fuji s5100 was a optical 10x zoom, it was fun having that much zoom, i know the s9000 was 12.2x zoom. the effective focal length was 30-300mm on the s5100 but, when i put the teleconverter on my 70-300mm zoom i get a effective 780mm focal point on my 20d, now thats fun.
