I have heard people using JB Weld, for a temp. fix. To get it welded You would probably have to remove the cooler.

i am assuming front cooler. find the hole and take the track off and have someone weld it for you or being in MN find a sled salvage yard and get a replacement.

Well since you're already up in that area stop by Mohawk salvage on your way back to pick up a replacement cooler, they got some really good prices.

Have a local shop weld it up. I put one through my exchanger last month. They may not have to remove anything. Depends where it hit.

actually my gfs dad just blew his clutch on his zr500, hes heading over to mohawk right now for one. My gfs brother is bringing my xcr up this evening so were just going to work on the cooler when we get home, its not that big of a deal right now i guess. thanks guys.
oh, by the way, the skidont ran great. We even went over to Fall Lake where my parents cabin is, it was about an 82 mile day it was nice. no polaris sleds broke down, go figure.

oh, perhaps my chain side bearing went out causing the shaft to go where it wants and allowing it to move too far foreward, when i used the brake with no belt on, it felt a little weird almost like it was slipping. so i might have a deeper problem here, oh and the guys at school are like experts at welding,

Brake has no effect with the belt off.
