hey i was wondering if anyone new what the snow was like in the hayward spooner area?? we aregoing up there this weekend so i'd like to know what its gonna be like up there

Well, right now the trails are closed in Washburn CO. And Hayward aint much better. But they are saying 12+ inches for this weekend. Hope there right..

Area Report: Happy Presidents Day Weekend!

Trails are in poor condition and fireroads are marginal.
All lakes are staked and in good riding condition.
The forecast is for temps in the 20's and lows around 0. There is a 20% chance for snow through the weekend.
Pray for snow!

check out haywardlakes.com , on the home page you have a skier and a snowmobiler, click on the sled and it will give tral conditions for the county. as of 2 days ago, they had pretty much bare ground.

Washburn Co Trails opened today. Burnett is also open now. 7-9 " according to the Visitors Center in Spooner.

Drove through there last Friday on the way back from the UP and there was nothing left. I am sure they got some snow over the weekend. But there isnt going to be anything underneath the new stuff.

no they didn't get **** over the weekend i was there. we rode the flowage and it was pure glare ice with like a 100 yard patch of snow every 300 yards, it sucked. plus my sled broke so i had to ride a touring : ( haha

Trails in the area are pretty good. Rode about 80 miles today with about 5 inches of new snow already. Rode from Shell Lake, Spooner, east over to Hertel/Siren. They'll be great after this storm.

god to know that they got sum snow up there now. that is where i do the magority of my riding. im in Elk River and out the window right now it's almost a white out
