I have an 01 XCR and love it. I bough it brand new and it now has 5,947 miles on it and it still runs strong, I took it to the U.P. this past weekend and put 542 miles on it and out of the 4 sleds I went with (Indy 500, Vmax 500, and Viper) I actually got the best gas mileage out of mine. It handles great on the twisty turning trails and as far as top speed, I havent found it yet, I've had mine at 105 mph and let off (still had plenty more), little freaky on a trail. As far as cons, its a little on the heavy side (its an 800) left front motor mount breaks alot (get a torque arm)so much torque, it has a few problems with traction, but can be adjusted out. The guy's on here are great with these sleds, they've really helped me get the most out of mine.

add a torque stop. check the front left motor mount. add the second air box intake. upgrade to a ripsaw track and adjustable rear shock. sled will pull and go for years.

Once you have it, you'll wonder why you didn't Snowcheck one when you had the chance.
