Ok here are the pics on the mod 1st get appropriate hole saw size drill in "dash" where desired(keep in mind the length of the wire)

This is the dash view after hole drilled and gauge installed


This is the rear view


Here is where you get power for your backlight, pull him out


These are the wires you tap into to get your backlight


Here is where i ran the temp wire, going over the exhaust is fine because the actual wire is in the coil wire thus protecting from heat.



Then after you have drained you coolant you take out the adapter that was in here


and put this one in


Then just put the old wire somewhere, i put mine attached to the new one

NICE! Thanks for making this a how to when I suggested it man.

Now.. I am wondering. You unplugged the sensor for your idiot light. So now you have no idiot light?

oh.. and you should add add "101" to your topic title.. then it should get sticky'd.

Yeah but now your no dummy so just watch your temp right around 130 is running temp im told

^ I am going to wire it up so the dummy light still works. Something tells me that me bombing around I am not going to be watching that gauge. So, if a light lights up, I notice that.

well i have heard that guys using the T adapter wich is what i imagine you will use have not had very much luck
