I am still fighting with belt and clutch issues with my 2005 Polaris Fusion 900. Don't get me wrong, the sled has one hell of a ride. I can jump on a ride for a hundred miles straight. All I'm asking for is some constructive ideas to make the thing work. All the factory updates have been done by the dealer. The sled has 1000 miles and a new primary clutch on it after only 350 miles on the trail a couple of weeks ago. The new belt they gave me didn't go this time, the primary clutch seized up. Any help would be great!!
I haven't got much help from Polaris Tech Support. I did have the SLP torque arm and torque stop installed and the secondary clutch helix.

Add extra venting to help keep your clutches cooler, install a 66-44/.46 or even a 70-44/.46 helix in the secondary, and you may have to add a couple grams of weight more than stock!

SLP makes a kit especially for this heat issue if thats what you are trying to say is happening. It's $300 but will get you way cooler clutches and drop you 12 lbs. of weight.

timbersled makes vents like this too but many have made them as well, much like i did. THese replace the console storage doors, which most sleds don't have anyway. You just take the door off and remove the storage compartment.

This summer i am going to add some flowrites too.

This is a pic from my exhaust side. Since the chaincase covers are warping due to heat, this will allow heat from the ehaust to escape. I haven't done the clutch side yet, but same principle, heat will escape allowing the clutches to stay cool.
