It's mid-May. I figure there's bound to be a few of us who've started on our summer projects. I know I have.

Myself, I started by replacing the rear skid. That evolved into disassembling the chaincase, only to find it empty of oil. So, the entire chaincase assembly got removed to look for cracks. While doing that, I noticed some bolts broke up front. That evolved into removing the front bellypan assembly to get fixed. While I was at that, I decided to take the rest of the plastics off to get fixed. I still have to remove the seat to rerivet the cooling strips, as some of the rivets broke loose. I also have to replace the recoil and remove the magneto housing to drill out the recoil mounting holes. On top of that, my bars are tore down (as you can see) to replace the handwarmers and redo some wiring. I have my work cut out for me...

All in all, I'm darn near on the verge of an entire tear-down...lol. Here's the pics:

So, what state are your projects in?

2006 Arctic Cat SnoPro 440/700 EFI
1998 Arctic Cat ZR 600 EFI Custom
1996 Ski-Doo FormulaIII 600

A mountain lion roaming the prairie found a bull, killed it and ate the entire bull. With a heavy belly, unable to walk, the lion laid in the tall grass moaning and roaring. Soon a hunter, attracted by the roaring, shot and killed the lion. Moral: When you're full of bull, keep your mouth shut!

Holy **** Nick you really have the old ZR tore down dont you. I currently have 3 projects in the shop awaiting parts.

1. My 2007 Dragon; Its getting a 136 Kit from tracks USA with a 1.5 Preditor track. Also have a clutch kit from team industries waiting to go in. As well as some new graphics from Arctic FX...Ill post those once there on the sled. I think everyone will be pleasantly surprised at what they are going to look like. Also have the stock riser out going to a bigger 6 inch riser. Want to get a SLP pipe and Can for the sled as well as some SLY DOGG skis but that remains to be seen if it will happen over the summer.

2. The 2000 XC SP 600 136.; This sled used to be mine a couple years ago, and I sold it to a buddy of mine. Well I bought for 1000 dollars this spring for my younger brother that is looking to get into sledding. It needs a clutch rebuild and a new track. Also going to paint the SLP twin pipes that are on as they are getting a little bit rusty. The riser that was in the dragon is going on it and Im thinking of some ideas for the hood. The stock graphics on that sled suck.

3. 2002 EDGE X 800; This sled is a buddy if mines that I have been working on since he bought it this winter. Its getting a 136 X 1.25 Polaris track with some SLP extensions. Also rebuilding both clutches and changing gears. Also going to do some service work to the carbs, exhaust valves and grease the sled all around. Tunnel needs a little fixing from an incident last year.

4. 2000 XC SP 500; This friday Im putting a belly pan and hood on a member here Hermie (AKA TRAVIS's) sled for him. Should be a 2-3 hour project to get his sled back in good running condition after last year. Maybe do some other work per his wishes we will see.

So as you can see I sure have my fair share of projects right now as well as My full time welding job, and helping the old man get the cows to the pasture. Im sure there will be more projects down the road, but thats it for now... lol Shop is a mess. Looking for the UPS guy hourly as Im stuck waiting for one part or another on Various sleds.
