I am looking for a new machine for next year. I am not looking for any particular brand but what I am after is 6-700cc (prox, F6, rev) low miles, 2001 and newer, with reverse.
The problem is that I live in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada and we would need to arrange shipping or pickup.
I am looking for something in the range of $4-5K. If anyone wants to make a deal let me know.

Hey King;
I'm in Regina too.
You can find a few sleds on Canadatrader.com and usedregina.com.
Come the fall there should be lots to choose from in the LP.

2008 Polaris 600 Dragon SB, 1.5" Camoplast Intense track, EPI Clutch Kit.
1999 Polaris 500 XC, 1.25" track, EPI Clutch Kit.

I was always under the impression that the 440's were basically race machines and terrible in anything deep. How big is the tank - send me some details if you want.

I'm looking at getting rid of my '07 Phazer Mtn Lite. It has 720 miles on it and is awesome in deep snow even though its only 500cc. Let me know what you think, good luck in your search.

I've got a '03 RMK 151 with LOTS of extras on it, in Boise Idaho...

'It's an '03 with an '04 700 VES, rebuilt in '05 because the factory marred the coolant o-ring groove, and it was sucking coolant into one of the cylinders. Basically, the motor has 1 season on it. It has no engine mods and out runs Polaris 800's. Originally a 144, but last season I put in an HRP big wheel extension and am running a brand new series 4 151. Also converted the HRP kit to run 2 wheels inside the rails.

Other mods include: Snow eliminators, HRP ice scratchers, all idlers removed except for the 2 by the lower front shock mount inside the rails. Power Madd hand guards, chrome windshield, windshield bag, dual steering post bushing kit, Gravity Worx left hand throttle, SLP single pipe, Snow Stuff can, Holeshot skid plate, Mountain Addiction 'Track Rack' gas cans., Boss Highrise Flat top seat, LED Tailight inside the rear bumper, Black headlight cover, Fox Shocks all the way around, powder coated all rear suspension and trailing arms to match the sled, SLP big air intake, SLP Flow rites in speedo hole, 2 on the dash, and 2 that replace the stock intake 'foam', Fly risers (4 inch), tether switch, SLP engine tourque limiter arms, 10-62's and Almond Round in primary, Blue/Orange and R8 helix in button 2ndary, turned and trued track driver sprockets (reduces vibration), 19/42 gears, and I always run 91 octane with Red-Line oil, jetted for 6K-9K elevation. Ves valves get polished every 3rd ride, and all grease zerks get greased every 3rd ride. It gets fogged every summer for storage, spring tension released, and stored off the ground so the track lugs don't fold. It is all blue, hood, bellypan, and suspension.

Looking to get $5,500 out of it with all the extra candy on it....

Chris

the tank is 9 gallons and the sled is a blast in the ditches the two times i got to go out last year was awesome. side hilling with this thing is sweet cuz the frame is soo light you are just pretty much riding a dirtbike with a track. who ever told you they were bad in deep snow doesnt know what they are talking about the only times you will get stuck is if the guy in front of you gets stuck and you gotta stop suddenly but other than that it is sweet. look at my page and you will get all the details there (05 IQ 440) its on here

Hey King;
My reply was more of a hey fellow Reginan.

My 500 is not and never will be for sale. It is far too much fun & reliable to get rid of.

If you can find one you will see 90 - 95 top end and will only get left behind if your real timid or on a lake with some big iron.

The chassis & ergos are as good as any sled of it's time, so ditchbanging it will reflect 1999 technolgy. I put a on high rise seat & bar riser that REALLY helped out in that department though.

I love Polaris but if your looking for a real ditch banger in that era a Firecat may be a better pick up.

hey 500fas, its good to know that other saskatchewanites are on this site. I actually live out in Balgonie. I am still looking, but can't wait for the snow to fall. I just got into the sport last year and bought my uncles old '86 cougar, just to see if I liked the sport - which is awesome. I spent the majority of the winter trying to fix the beast and missed out on lots of riding. This year I am buying something alot newer that is going to let me get out lots with a min of breakdowns.

Good plan.
I saw a very low mile 700 XC like mine on ebay going pretty cheap
if you don't mind driving a long way to get one.

One guy on here has a 700 Dragon in North Dakota for a bit more
than you budget indicated.

We should get together for a ride this winter.
I usually do a ride to the Fort and back 3 - 5 times a year.

If I find something in your price range, I'll give you a heads up.

One of my buddies in Milestone has 2003 Firecat 700 than he may still
want to unload if your interested....let me know.

Give me a shopping list and I can see what I can find for you.

I have an 06 crossfire 600 with 800 miles on it. I am located about 2 hours south of Fargo, North Dakota. I would need
$5000(us) and you would have to pick up. Comes with cover, chrome windshield, and green snowflap. Primary color is black.
