Need some insight on the above mentioned sled. I am going to look at one this weekend, 4300 miles pto kit newer track, asking $6500cdn. I think he is about $1000 over priced, based on what i have seen on the autotrader and other online sites. Any thoughts on this would be great, as well as things to look for to barter him down in price. Have heard about cdi upgrade as well as stainless exh valves. Thanks all who reply, Bill

Seems a bit steep for a 5yr old sled with a lot of miles. Id say closer to 4500-5000 for a fair price. Sleds hold value here well and a friend just got a 05 F7 for $5500 with less miles.

Keep looking, there will be a lot of similiar sleds for sale in the coming months. Keep checking local dealers. They may have unlisted used sleds they are looking to move quick.

Another update is the "toughboy" kit for the PTO side crankshaft/bearing problem with the 800 twins.

Do some reasearch and make sure you get whatever year it is they fixed the powervalves. Heard some really ugly stories of the threaded end breaking off and sending the valve into the motor. Not pretty. The fix is with either stainless or titainium (assuming preventative maintainence here). Some guys have been burnt and some havent. Good luck.
