I went home because its one of the last weekends before wrestling season gets into full swing and we pulled the sleds out, cleaned em up, and got them ready for the season. For cleaning we washed them, waxed them, polished the tunnels, and touched up the chrome paint spots. Two recommendations for all: First, when you wax your sled next time. Go pick up Turtle Wax "ICE." It works great, its faster than regular wax, and you don't have to worry about the white spots drying on your plastics from the wax. Second, when you polish the tunnel, go by a "powerball?" buffing ball from a auto parts store. Its one that you can attach to a drill and it cut the time of polishing the tunnel by atleast a half. I used mother's to polish the tunnel, and it came out good. On both of our sleds we pulled the sway bars, which was quick and easy. On the ZR, we had to tighten the Y-pipe because it was leaking exhaust, and the sled was louder than normal. On the Mountain Cat, we have to change the spring in the primary because it is broken in half and the sled jumps at the touch of the throttle, but yet is clutched for 6000-9000. But thats for next weekend.

We did the work at a Friends local Gas Station, and left them there for the week because it rained all saturday afternoon and sunday. Plus we still have to change the spring out on the Primary, and I guess people keep asking if the sleds are for sale. Apparently people keep stopping in and its keeping him from getting some of his work done because he has to explain to them they are not for sale. Now they have "NOT FOR SALE, REPAIRS BEING DONE" sign put on the windshield. Kind of a compliment in my mind!
