As we embark on another sled season, well for the more fortunate, I'd like to say a HUGE thank-you for all the men and women in the military who are not able to ride this winter because they are protecting our country. I hope to be doing some volunteer work in the near future to help soldiers and soldiers families. So I just would like to say thank-you to all the men and women out there, it doesn't describe half the gratitude I have for you!

Born to Fertilize..
mackinsaw Thinks it's mighty convient for the neighbor to wait untill there's snow on the ground and to ask me if I would do him a massive favour and cut his firewood for the winter for money as he is incapable. Dang I got some work cut out for the next few days.

Yes but that's the sacrifice you make when you sign up. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate all the folks who serve, but that's a commitment made before you sign on, no ?

Good thread, my bro left for Iraq last month for his second go around. He'll miss this season, and most of next.

I have a couple of friends in the Reserves who have done a couple of tours there now. One of them is a tank and truck mechanic. They run the gas convoys which is a really dangerous job. His kids are younger than mine, and he has missed huge chunks of their lives. I thank him everytime I see him.

I'll Add a Big Thank You as well!!! Please dont pay attention to all the nay sayers this country seems to have. Those of us with a clear thinking mind, truly do appreciate what you are doing. If it weren't for you, all of those nay sayers wouldnt have a pot to piss in! It's not a pretty time in history, but trust me, some day we will all look back and realize we did what needed to be done.

My car even rolls with support our troops plates! She thanks you too!
