Just wondering if anybody out there has the type that supposedly heats your breath as you breathe in, and wondering what you think of it. I have the regular nylon/polyester type and a Castle Racing jacket with a decent-sized collar, but I can't keep an area on my neck from getting frostbit while ridiing from the vapor in the mask freezing. Just looking for some input before I buy one cause they are quite expensive.

Yeah, I think they are neoprene. The one I was looking at was in the Cabela's catalog I received a few days ago.

yeah I think they work better because they are wind an water proof so the vapors from your breath never get exposed to the wind.

For really cheap, but really good quality ones, look up Katahdin Gear. It's a company based out of maine, and the $3 ones are really light, and are thin, but keep your neck from freezing up. Or, for $7 they make a nice fleece one that will gurantee to about -25 degrees

I had the very thin one last year i got frostbite across my face outlining my gogles didnt look to funny! i hate the thin ones because everytime i exhaled the belaclava would get damp and after a while it would get wet then freeze.
