Well, ok...i didn't exactly get them out tonight, this pic is a few months old But these are pictures of our 20 gauge shotgun, our 270, and our 30/06 (correction?). I will be using the 30/06 (not really sure how to type that....we just call it the 30 odd 6). I'll be heading up wednesday night (like 6-7 PM) and then after a 2 hour drive we will finally be up to where we will hunt. Then thursday morning we set out to begin hunting at sun up all the way until sunset. i'm hoping to get a deer early (as everyone is) BUT even if i dont, i'll be upnorth until Sunday night.

.30-06 (thirty ought six, .30 caliber, first developed in 1906) would be the proper way to write it. Anybody that knows guns would understand if you said "ought six," though! Still going strong after 100 years!

Not bad. We got rid of our guns, because we didn't really hunt. Just did some bird shooting ( we figured that we didnt need a 7.62x39 to kill a pigeon ).
