I run Injex in both of my 96 XLT SPs and have not had a problem with it but tired of the smell that it leaves on all our clothes, actually the wife doesn't like it. Any suggestions as to what is comparable in price and smells better? Thanks for the opinions.

Klotz has a better smell, kind of a race gas smell to it. Ipone smells like strawberries and heard Polaris VES oil smells like bubble gum or cotton candy.
As far as price, your gonna pay more for any that I mentioned.

all 2-stroke oils will leave some sort of smoke and smell (due to the fact that the oil is burnt with the fuel), there isnt really anyway to get rid of it other then buying a 4-stroke.

I use Blue Marble and it has a LOT less smoke and smell than other oils I have used, but it costs more too. Like slamdry said, it's the nature of the beast. We can try to minimize it, or make it smell different, but it won't ever go completely away.

My wife is ok with the polaris blue smell. She hated amsoil interceptors smell. It also burned her eyes.
She also doesn't have any issues with the klotz technaplate I use in my valved engines.

Okay, thanks for the input guys. I will probably switch to one of those, like Blue Marble or the Ipone. I will let her decide which one smells better to her, not like she goes with me everytime anyways. LOL Thanks again.

My wife hates the smell so much ,I actualy get some freedom on the machine. It's those times apart that keep us together. Best part is, I can swear,do stunts she would kill me for doing is she saw and flirt with the ladies at the FLAT ROCK, and she's none the wiser. Ha, Ha. Thank God for 2-stroke smoke.
