Perhaps if you elaborate, some one could help you.

One thing to remember is that a speedometer problem is often due to a bearing problem in your drive sprocket shaft. Make sure you check those bearings.

Cheers

It's your driveshaft bearing. It happened to me last spring. I didn't replace it right away and it wore my driveshaft down and I had to get a new one.

I need big jugs on my sled, cuz my girl doesn't.

For sale:

There is a speedo key that one end goes in the end of the driveshaft and the other in the speedo gear under your secondary. When the bearing goes out, it breaks that key.

For mine I had to take out the skid and track, take off the chaincase, and the bearing holder on the clutch side. I don't know if you HAVE to take all that off, but i did and it wasn't bad to replace. Once the driveshaft is out, I had to press the old bearing off and press the new one back on. The hardest part was getting the broken key out of the end of the driveshaft. I had to take a smaller drill bit and drill it out. Make sure you get a new speedo key and put it in or it still won't work. Then put it all back together. You can carefully take out the seal on one side of the new bearing and put that on the clutch side so grease get's into the bearing. It might help it last longer.
