I recently picked up a '91 Polaris Indy 500 efi. On the instrument cluster is a green "RDY" light that comes on when I turn the key, and then won't ever go off, even if I take the key out, until I disconnect the battery. So I have two questions: What is the ready light for, and why won't it go off?

I have the same problem with my vcr clock. I put some black tape over it.

not to sure what the bulb does but if all else fails until then you could remove the bulb from its socket, then it won't complete the circuit...problem solved tell you figure it out. I'm sure someone will know...
