I took my sled apart and found why my speedometer doesnt work - now I need to know how to fix it or what to replace started by ripsnorter

I took my sled apart and found why my speedometer doesnt work. The end of the speedometer cable that goes into the speedometer is missing a little white plastic part that the square end of the speedometer cable goes into. There are two openings that the cable can go into. I imagine that the one on the right is for killometers. I have some pictures here to see what I mean. The square end of the speedometer cable spins when I start the sled and spin the track. I need to know how to fix it. Do I need to buy that whole white thing? Or can I get that little piece that is not there in the hole on the left. I plugged the killometer side in and that side moves the needle at speed if that means anything. Ahh crap! I can't figure out how to post pictures...

that plastic peace screws off...then just buy a new one...they dont cost much...
