I've got a '03 Indy 500 that I put a 2pulse tach on.. it's been working great since it's been installed; but this year when I start it up and get it warmed up the light has been blinking on/off like it's got an intermitent short. Is there anything I should check before changing either the bulb or the tach?? I've removed and reinstalled the bulb so the connections should be okay??

After warming up the bulb is on as regular, it's just when starting up and driving until about 2 miles or so when the 'blinking' light stays on for good. Any help would be appreciated; I'll drink a beer to the beer gods for your health.

'03 Indy 500 sks (Scumpman's Kicka** Snowmachine) extended skid/track to 136" from TracksUSA, AC roller clutch, Holtzman Tempaflow, clutched and geared, 2" risers, skidplate, old Pol rack.
