Hey guys, I have been riding sleds for about 7 years, but have always had older sleds only good for trail use and a little bombing around. I am going to buy a new sled and have a few choices. I want it to have a long enough track and enough power to use for light mountain use. Nothing too extreme, just want a sled that's capable if I choose to go in some deep and steep places. My choices as of now are: 1998 Polaris RMK 700, 1998 Ski-Doo Summit X 670 with a 151" track, a 1997 A/C Powder Special, and a 1997 A/C Thundercat Mc900. Everything helps guys thanks in advance!

Well I voted for the doo because im a doo guy but it sounds like that sled isn't the right one for you. I'm sure that you would love the 670 but the 151" isn't good for "light" mountain use.

So you think the 151 would be too aggressive for me? Would whatever the others have (136 or 144) be good enough for some deep snow and a little climbing tho? Thanks

The RMK 700 sounds perfect for what you need. The TCat would be sweet too but they are a bit on the heavy side.
