	Winter Summer Helmet - What's the difference? started by laker220

	I take a lot of helmets apart for my painting process and I really don't find much different other than the lens (double lens on snow helmet and single on summer lids) Main differences; * Double lens * Breath deflector * Chin curtain There maybe and probably are differences I'm not aware of though? http://www.picturetrail.com/trickpaint Rating: 0 Quick Edit Full Edit

	That's about what I though except HJC doesn't seem to be putting a bhin curtain on their new helmets anymore...or else the store I bought from is ordering the wrong helmet. Rating: 0 Quick Edit Full Edit

	yeah i use my snow helmet on my street bike in the summer. i actually prefer it it seems the snow helmets have more venting for air flow, wich is also very if not more useful in the summer Rating: 0 Quick Edit Full Edit

I sell HJC helmets and find that the only differences are the shield and breath box. If you have, for example, a CL15, you can buy the double shield and breath box separately.
