i just bought myself a newer sled, 96 formula z 583. was wondering if there is any specific info i need to know when it comes to align the height on the headlight?
ie: set it up "x" distance from a garage door and align the low beam to a certain height and all that, similar to doing headlights on a vehicle, or is it more of just a well that looks good so leave it there kinda thing?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated! :)

if it is realy out of line for your preferance than yes it is fairly easy but isint a sinch. first find the light in the cowl and there should be 4 springs with bolts holding the light in place all you have to do is tighten one or losen one to get it top go the way you want.

any one looking for sled parts check out http://www.smartrecparts.com they have about every thing from new to old!

Just set it the way you want it. I have dual lights and set one up real high and one down low.

I have a 98 manual that explains it step4step if you need something! It seems pretty easy. center of high beams is supposed to be 1 inch below horizintal line of sled and lights at 25ft when sitting on it.
