Well I've done some searching but complete information is tough to find. I'm looking to find COMPLETE carb setups that everyone is using on their piped Ultras. I know there are recommendations on different manufacturers sites, but I'm looking for tried and true, field tested setups. Obviously if your sled burned down please state the fact!

Please list:
Pipe Type/Manufacturer, Carb size, main jets, pilot jets, air screw turns, jet needles and needle jets, needle clip position, throttle slide cutaway, elevation and any airbox changes (pods, gutted, stock, etc).

The help is greatly appreciated! I'm having some issues with the carb setup on my BB Ultra and would like to see what others are running.

Good topic. There are so many variables with ultra's and after market pipes. The biggest issue I've seen is pipes with big bore. Some work fine and some don't. Make sure the pipes you choose are rated for big bore before blaming the carb setup.

you cant base the set up off someone elses. if youre having trouble with your set up let us know what youre running, and we can go from there. i dialed in my ultra 826 last year and let me tell you the motor flat out rocked. at the end of the season i was going back and forth with clutch set ups to try and get them power to the trail, and this year im gonna swap in an edge suspension. but you cant set yours up like mine unless its the same motor design.
whats yours ported for? what pipes are you running? stock reeds? stock 38 mikunis? stock ignition? im just curious i checked out you photo page and whats the deal with the fram air filter attached to the air box? those are much more restricting then the stock foam.
people always find a set of big bore cylinders and think they just drop them on. it aint always that easy they take som finessing to find the right set up. 680 pipes work horrible on them, yes they work but make it much harder to find a set up.
i still havent had any real snow to have mine out this year and dont even plan to unless i get the edge suspension.
