I guess "Scrabble" is mine.

It's a fairly quick game and often peoples word choices and spelling comes into question

it was tight. this one time i put 89 octane instead of 87 and my sled went like 60 times faster and i could water skip because it went really fast. i recomend 89 or 91 to anyone.

I always liked the game,LIFE, since I was a kid

Monopoly fun, usually never come near finishing it.

5 straight is a fun game, easy to learn, but many stratagies.

Played Scatagories on X mas, I didn't like having to thik that hard. LOL

Do any of you guys listen to Dane Cook? Whether you do or do not I think you guys should download the track Operation - Monopoly. Lol it explains what monopoly really is... If you guys don't know who Dane Cook is, he is pretty much the funniest comedian of my generation.

When I was a little kid, Mouse-Trap, Trouble, and Ker-plunk were among my favorites.

I knew someone would ask, so here it is; Ker-plunk...

I liked Mousetrap when I was little, it was a lot of fun to set it up.

I don't get to play too many board games these days it seems. We have that Life On the Farm game, similar to the one posted above, but like Monopoly, it takes a LONG time to play thru. I've only played Risk a couple times, but that too was a game that took a long time.

There's a couple that I like that are not such a big time comittment. One is called "Survive", found it at an antique store for $3.00, and I really enjoy that one. You have about a dozen 'people' for each player, that are placed on an 'island' that you try and move them to shore via boats or swimming, while avoiding sharks, whales. And the 'island' is made of cards that you take one away each round, making the island smaller. The 'people' each have hidden point values, and the object is to save people adding up to the most points. (Which I'm bad at, because I lose track of my high-point value people.)

Another I like is a version of Clue, called the Museum Caper or something like that. We scored that off Ebay. One player is the theif, and the others are trying to catch you before you steal stuff and leave the museum. The theif is not visible on the game board unless someone stumbles across you, so it's kinda tricky, and complex. Hard one to explain in few words.

Both games are so random, anything can happen, it's not just following a strict path, and that's what I like about each.

My wife and I play scrabble at dinner, or Othello depending on who wants to win for a week.
But my favorite is Risk when played with the right combo of people and the right amount of backstabbing.
