I want to make a SCS Comp ramp hopefully this summer mabey a few of them. I was wondering how much it would cost to build this. what thickness and guage of metal square tubing should i use? 1.50"? 1.75"?

I would assume 1/8" wall thickness 2" square tubing would hold up well. I think its around $2.25/foot when ordered in bulk. (over 500 lbs). Figure in all your bracing and framework, I'm betting your steel alone will be close to $400 or more. Then plywood...but it will be cheap compared to the cost of wrecking the sled when coming up short on the first launch.
