like it says. i might be getting a 93 storm 750 to make a lake runner with and wondering what kinds of potential these things have? i know ill probably get a can for it since it has the trips on it already and clutch work since its bone stock. just wondering what else can be done to it?

I was always told they were pigs from the factory but when modded slightly were fast. Also heard that they are pretty hefty.

A pig in the garage but in the ditches it felt much lighter. With a little work they really fly.

I have a lake race storm motor for sale. pipes, clutch carbs ignition primary clutch, $550 bucks and toss me a little gas cash and i will meet you half way with it. compression feels very good or higher than stock. history is to be that it is an old speed sled motor from back in the day.

ok. the primary is worth 125, so sell that. you basically bought a nice used set of pipes for 325 bucks. and got a free motor with and carbs. the carbs are a smaller flat slide or d slide. you could sell them for someones xlt for 75 or 100 bucks. now you bought the pipes and engine for 225 bucks. one bad crank will cost you about 500. score one of your cylinders down and you now have 3 spares to pic from instead of spending the couple hundred on repair work. one burnt cylinder will pay for the motor. and if you use one of the pistons out of this spare motor, you are now money ahead, in fact the wife would owe you 50 dollars for using your own stocked parts instead of spending 250 per hole per burn down.

lets go bob I need to move this motor.

nothing goes like 3 holes!!
