Hello to all. I just picked up a very clean, ,low mile 2000 Z440 for wife (or me when not on the Nytro) & was wondering if there is anything in specific to watch for or any real issues with engine, suspension, etc.

Also, no manual came with, so one question I do have is what do the alternate mounting holes on the bottom the rear scissor block (on the rail) do as far as ride quality or lack there of??

Thanks to all in advance.

That is a nice motor for just basic trail riding, not a whole lot of power, but it gets the job done.

If I remembered what they were for, Id tell you. I know the alternate holes in the tunnel adjust the rake of the sled for use in powder. I can only guess that the holes on the rails would adjust your ride quality. Ive never moved mine, I just change the spring pre-loads or lengthen/tighten the limiting straps.

Your right, good solid sled. Not a lake burner or anything but it should give you many trouble free miles with proper maintenance. We have the same sled for my wife. I'm starting to gather parts to convert the cable brake to hydraulic and convert single carb to dual. Also gonna add a sway bar. Added studs to ours and it takes off pretty good.

Can't help you with suspension. I don't have much knowledge with suspensions, I always leave mine stock and will tweak with the springs or the straps, that is about it.
