Here is a pic of the sled i purchased last week. The guy i bought from didn't know what year it was but i found out it is a 1993.
I've had to do a lot of cosmetic work to it and it is now looking pretty good. So far i have replaced the wood under the seat and temporarily using black duct tape to cover the rips, cleaned the engine compartment, painted the console with krylon fusion paint and i'm looking for new bars as well as installing handwarmers.
Here is a pic from when it was for sale. I'll post a pic of the finished product when i can.

That looks sweet. I'm just doing a little work on it right now so that she can ride right away. I plan on doing a lot of restoration this summer and making it look really good.

Great pickup. I think Bravos are the best kids sled on the market. I suggest putting a set of plastic ski skins on it for floatation. They can go through crazy deep snow when the front can float and they will last forever.

Great first sled; these can actually be riden on trails, where as the 120's shouldn't be. Easy to work on and a lot of fun. I had one when younger and my kids just outgrew theirs a few years ago.
Your kids will nominate you for Dad of the year!

$300 s a steal. In 10yrs itll still work like a charm and youll be able to sell it for as much if not more than what you bought it for.

Who makes plastic skis that will fit it?

Im not sure there are any plastic skis that will fit Bravos. But Royal Distributing sells extra wide ski skins that work really well on Bravos. We have them on all 4 Bravos at work and I highly recommend them. Gives the sled a lot of atability on trails too.

I finished putting the sled together lastnight after all the work that i have done. I had the gas tank out and drained the lines and the sled still started on the 3rd pull.
I have to get a seat cover. the duct tape isn't working that well. I took the sled around the yard lastnight and it rips pretty good.

I had one when I was 11. I loved it.
To fix your seat just staple new material right over the old stuff. Its a good cheap fix and will look good and last for years.

^^^^Bravos wont go 50mph. 35mph is all they will do. Ive run several models for minutes straight with the throttle to the bar. I managed to get a 07 model up to 60km/h(37mph).

ya i could get ours up to 60k in a cpl hundred feet on ice. some company in quebec makes a sweet reverse kit for the bravo that ditches the whole chain case and runs a diamond drive type system. its pretty sweet as u can prob get a bit more speed or better low end pending on wat u like. downside is thats its 850 bucks :P
