I am rather suprised that with the rush of colored ATV tires, there hasn't been a push for colored tracks like that.

^^^i agree with forumla and james..wow yamaha needs to hire someone who can actually put a good looking sled out on the market. They seem to be getting worse and worse...I really liked the looks of the SRX's or SXR's and older ventures/rx-1s but as for the new nytro, i cant say the same. IMO, it is one of the ugliest sleds ever produced. Yamaha was already not high on my list(i prefer 2 strokes) but with the nytro and those potential new sleds, they'll sure be at the bottom.

Aren't they pics of the same sled. I like my wedge, but as with everthing else, technology goes on. Ugly, yes..functional, it sure looks like it.
BTW is that the touring version?
Formula, I think you get the point. It's cost effective for them to use what they know.

Likes:
The front suspension and bumper.
Bar Risers
Tunnel would prefer a full tube tunnel as when you ride side hill I wouldn't want to find two foot pegs as my only stance options.
Dislikes.
Skis - go to traditional plastics
Front spindles, ew.
Seat - I really would like a straight up motocross seat on one of these, I seldom sit on the seat but I need the seat to be thinner. In fact if possible i would love to have the same stradle width at the top as a MX seat.
Rear idler wheels, why are they all the way at the edge of the track?
Yellow track - ew.

Its interesting, but personally, I don't like it.
There's nothing for wind protection. I don't like the foot rests. The lack of a tunnel is a major saftey issue, as well as a snow-soaked back.
