I'll start this thread this year.
2SEwings, Wallygator and me rode Wend. in the cold up to Lutsen and back to the KPI. 125 miles
-18 below when we started out. Stayed warm except when we stopped for breaks.((or to help Wallygator out of the brush

)
People started showing up Wend. afternoon.
Thursday was a day from hell.
Started out Festus 33 and Bear 1 went to Finland for breakfast.
Pulling into the parking lot they were involved in a car accident.
Won't go into details just to say everyone is all right.
Finally got on the trails around noon. About 20 miles out Bart didn't quite make a corner and bent his right trailing arm. While we were trying to get it fixed the rear bolt snapped.
Limped it out to a logging road while 2Sewings went back to get his truck.
The rest of us rode for the afternoon with no other problems. 60 miles for the afternoon.
The Zoo brought up some drill bits and easyouts to repair it Thurs. nite. Got everything ready for the morning so when Bart got back from Beaver bay with a new bolt, we were ready for the trails.
Fri morning we had to wait for Ripperd and his group to show up. We split up into 2 groups with Ditchbanger leading one and me leading the other.
Did some trail riding and some ditchbanging. Good riding. 120 miles. Minus one Dragon the got slayed(no compression on one cylinder).
Sat. morning we had to wait for Ditchbanger and his group to show up(to much alcohol the nite before ???)
Went down to the LTV powerline to do some off trail riding. Very rocky so had to go slow BUT some people didn't listen to what I was saying. One bent and broken lower control arm on a Polaris. One bent A-arm on a new XP Skidoo. One slightly bent trailing arm on a Polaris.
Once we got them going back to the pines the rest of us continued on to do some old time trail riding(narrow one lane trails).
Went back up to the pines for gas and a quick lunch. Some didn't want to go out for the afternoon but for the rest of us that did we had a blast. Did some logging road and some lake riding.
Got on some portages that were pretty narrow but interesting.
On the way back, we were about 4 miles to the pines when some A--hole almost took me out on a corner. Close call but stilled scared the hell out of me.
Did a total of 440 miles for the week. Some good times and some not so good times but everyone made it back all in one piece.
Was nice meeting everyone from last year and the new faces this year.
Wallygator trying to make the trail straighter

And yes, he has a pic. of me it a little predictament on a little hill.
Polarisman and his group unloading Thurs. morning.

Leaving out Fri. morning.
