I have been enjoying the fastest sled in our group until last week. My Uncle just purchased a 2007 Yamaha Nytro 3cyl. If you look at my link at the bottom of my post you will find my sled. It is a 1996 Indy XLT SP. I might be able do out do him on top end, but we never get there. I am going to buy a new sled and suprise him next year. I am starting to look now, I would like to spend less than 3500. I just need to know what to look for. I don't need the fastest sled, I just want to beat him. I would like to stay in the Polaris family. I have to admit, if I were buying new I would go for the Yamaha, I hate the looks of the new Polaris. I need advice.

Drop an 800 triple out of a storm in there, and beat him with the old sled...

Or just build the crap out of the old engine. You can add turbo, nitrous, or any of numerous other modifications, without changing sleds and picking up a whole new set of problems...

?? - Merc 440 - Mom made me sell it.
95 - Storm 800 - Totalled.
96 - XLT/SP 600 - Frankenstorm lives...

---------------------------------------------

It made me more compassionate, more empathetic, more nurturing...
I feel like I'm trapped in my own worst nightmare!!!
