Polaris 800 Mod twin based off the extremely reliable Liberty 700.
The torque king has arrived!! Enough torque to push you over the top of the biggest mountain and over 162 horsepower to send you smokin' down the trail!!
I'd love to run this engine the rest of the season but a new project forces sale. I don't have a lot of time on this engine, I pretty much just kept it where the previous owner had it and fine tuned it in from there. Exact miles unknown, probably somewhere around 2,000. Never had any problems with this engine, in fact you can still see the cross hatching in the cylinders!
This isn't just like slapping 800 cylinders on a 700, this engine also has stage V porting.
And you can run pump 91 or 110 depending on how the domes are set.
Not sure what its all worth but here's a list if you were to do this yourself;
700 Base engine (must be complete) : ~$1100 +/-
800CC Big Bore Kit : $1500 + assembly
Dial-A-Dome Heads specifically for BB : $550
V-Force Reeds : $250
so you can have the whole 800 engine, DD heads, PSI center dump pipe, keihin carbs with throttle and choke cables (and the carbs are already set up for a primer), recoil, and an oil pump for less than the price of the kit and heads alone!
So make me an offer!
Here's a short video of a friend of mine trying out my RMK with this engine in it;
