right where the seam is a twig somehow stuck into my seat..i was just wondering a few things here

a. could i have someone sew this for me if i got a big enough needle (i know a normal needle and thread will not work) if i did this would i have to take the seat cover off or is it ok to leave it on there and have it done.

b. can i just order a new seat cover and have the dealer put it on for me...probably the easier way to go but much more exspensive.

c. can i take it to and upholster and have it sewn up? if so how much would they charge me to do this? if i had them do this would i have to take the seat cover off and put it back on?

the reason i ask all these questions is i dont want to take off the cover and be stuck with having to put it back on ive never done it before and dont want to mess anything up.

heres a couple pictures its not bad yet but i know eventually it will tear real bad and start to spread so i figured why not take care of it now before it gets bad.

I agree with evan-lowrider... just watch it and make sure it doesn't rip more keep an eye on it. and if it spreads take it to an upholster and have them stitch it up.

That is a summer time fix.
As mentioned a bit of glue to seal the hole.

If you take the cover off yourself this summer it will only cost
about 5 bucks to re-sew that seam.... if that.

Vinyl adhesive, let it cure overnight in the garage, and call it good.
The covers are just stapled onto the base of the seat, remove them and peel it back until you can see the seam and sew it up.
